This project focuses on the investigation of microRNAs expressed at heart of 21 vertebrate species (belonging to the group of fishes, amphibians, reptiles, birds, and mammals), improving comparative analysis to check for evolutionary relationships, as well as the computational inference of targets from conserved and non-conserved miRNAs expressed.
