Simulated atmospheric data from Kalakoski et al. (2023), “Global ozone loss following extreme solar proton storms based on the July 2012 coronal mass ejection” submitted to Scientific Reports

The dataset contains daily mean profiles for CL, ClO, H, HO2, NOx, NOy, O3 and OH from Whole Atmosphere Community Climate Model simulations as polar cap averages, as well as daily mean total column ozone for global grid. Data covers years 2011-2014. The set includes simulation with various proton forcings based on STEREO observations, as well as reference simulation without proton forcing.
