Bacterial prey food quality modulates community composition of bacterivorous freshwater nanoflagellates

The study addresses the investigation of the effects of bacterial prey on the community composition of bacterivorous flagellates and to identify key bacterivores. To do so, we used an amplicon sequencing approach targeting the V9 and ITS1.
