Negombata rotundata sp.nov. vs. Negombata magnifica microbiome comparison

In this study, we examined whether another morph of Negombata in the Red Sea, Negombata rotundata sp.nov. is a novel species by using an integrative approach which included morphological and molecular examination, characterization of latrunculin types, and analysis of the microbial community structure. Using 16S rRNA gene amplicon sequencing we investigated and compared the microbial communities of Negombata rotundata sp.nov. and the congeneric species N. magnifica.
