The T-box transcription factor Brachyury plays crucial roles in embryonic development of metazoans. Its function in vertebrate mesoderm formation has been intensively studied. However, Brachyury functions are poorly understood in other phyla. Thus, we performed genome-wide functional analysis of Brachyury using coral embryos.
