Evolution of the electronic structure and of the magnetic correlations in Sr2Cu1-x(Zn,Mg)xO2Cl2

DOI

We plan to investigate by means of longitudinal and zero field muSR the modifications induced by (Zn,Mg) for Cu substitution in the spin correlations of Sr2CuO2Cl2, a two-dimensional strongly correlated electron system. Those measurements will be performed on the same samples where the band structure has been investigated with ARPES measurements. The aim is to compare the evolution of the band structure and of the magnetic correlations in the same systems to clarify if the standard Hubbard model allows for a suitable description of this system.
