Infrared and differential calorimetry data associated with article "The influence of hydroxide to fluoride substitution in the trans-position to NO on the photochemistry of ruthenium nitrosyl complexes in the solid state and in solution"

DOI

The infrared spectroscopic and calorimetric data collected before and after light irradiation allow for the identification and characterization of the photoinduced nitrosyl linkage isomers in two compounds with different trans-to-NO ligand. IR spectroscopy yields population and optimal irradiation wavelength, while DSC yields activation energy and rate constant.
