This experiment proposes to measure the MuSR signal in undoped phthalocyanine (Pc) samples of NiPc, PbPc, FePc and TiOPc, in order to clarify the existence of the paramagnetic state III observed in other phthalocyanines, and study its spin dynamics in these samples. It follows a comprehensive MuSR study performed by our group on H2Pc, ZnPc and CuPc which established this technique as a viable tool to probe the local conduction properties of phthalocyanines via spin-scattering phenomena of charge carriers with state III. The main goal of the experiment is to ascertain the presence of state III using its known LF signature, and extract the field and temperature dependence of the LF relaxation rate in order to establish a global picture regarding the influence of the central atom, its coordination and the magnetic character of the molecule in the conduction properties of phthalocyanines.
