Red abalone are herbivorous marine gastropods. They are the largest and longest-lived abalone species with a range distribution in North America from central Oregon, USA, to Baja California, MEX.. These data have been produced as part of the CCGP. Sequencing was conducted with HiFi Pacific Biosciences long reads at UCDavis Genome Core, Dovetail's OmniC libraries, and Illumina sequencing at UCBerkeley QB3 Genomics Core.
