Whole genomic and transcriptomic analysis of Aurantiochytrium limacinum BL10

Aurantiochytrium limacium BL10 is a microalga that is considered a promising candidate for the production of polyunsaturated fatty acids used in the nutritional supplements industry. A whole-genome and transcriptome analysis of BL10 provides new insight into the molecular basis of DHA synthesis and nutrient metabolism of this organism.
