Uncultured bacterium genome sequencing

Prokaryotic communities compose a fundamental portion of the marine sponge holobiont. Inspite of their putative relevance in host functioning, in-depth knowledge of the stability of sponge symbiont communities over time is extremely scarce. This study tackles the extent of temporal variation in archaeal and bacterial assemblages in the marine sponge Sarcotragus spinosulus.
