This study was initiated to find out the absolute abundance of presence of different bacterial community in this semi-restored mangrove site soil. It was done through isolation of soil DNA from the respective site and amplicon database generation through16S (V3-V4) rRNA Sequencing using Illumina MiSeq Platform. and then calculated diversity metrics for each sample and compared the types of communities, using the taxonomic assignments. We made a similar study for absolute abundance of presence of different bacterial community in this same mangrove site soil before restoration was initiated here and also from other degraded mangrove site soil before restoration and also from pristine undisturbed mangrove site soil. Comparison of all these information might result into identification of some particular bacterial community abundances which could be used as metrics of evaluation restoration of mangrove site soil in future studies.
