Magnetic and superconducting ground states have been proposed to coexist in a relatively narrow compositional range in the so-called 122 pnictide superconductors. We recently demonstrated their microscopic coexistence in Ba1-xKxFe2As2 (data collected on HRPD - two papers published in PRB). Furthermore, we recently collected data on WISH (Dec 2011) and observed an unexpected structural phase transition for Ba1-xNaxFe2As2 within a similar narrow coexistence regime. A tetragonal - orthorhombic - tetragonal sequence of structural transitions has been observed in addition to a new magnetic ground state hosted by the low tetragonal structure. Theoretical collaborations have been made and the theory was expanded to explain this novel degenerate phase. The theory predicts the exsitence of a novel sub-phase diagram that we wish to explore through this proposal. A total of 6-7 samples to run
