Meta data for: Grain yield and nitrogen cycling under conservation agriculture and biochar amendment in agroecosystems of sub-Saharan Africa. A meta-analysis

This dataset contains data from 87 studies (original research papers), from 15 countries in sub-Saharan Africa, spanning from 2000 to early 2023. We investigated the effect of climate smart agricultural practices (conservation agriculture and biochar) on grain yield, NUE, soil nitrate, nitrous oxide emissions, biological N2-fixation, and percent of nitrogen derived from the atmosphere.
