Gravel petrology of Hudson strait sediments

Sediments from channel samples were weighed and sieved through a 2 mm mesh. Granules >2 mm were visually identified with a binocular microscope and dolomite was separated from limestone by adding a drop of 10% HCl. The number of grains > 2 mm varied between 28 and 222.
