This data set consists of the nutrient vertical profile data of the BONUS INTEGRAL winter cruise, which took place at the Gulf of Bothnia and the Gulf of Finland, the Baltic Sea, in 28.02. - 11.03.2019. The water samples were taken from 33 stations and for each of these stations 5-15 depths were sampled. Finnish Environment Institute measured the concentrations of the dissolved nutrients (phosphate, total phosphorus, silicate, nitrate-nitrite, nitrite, ammonium and total nitrogen) by using an autoanalyzer (AA3, Seal) which uses the colorimetric determination method. The accuracy and quantification limits of the measurement, are given in a separate metadata file, see further details. The cruise was part of the BONUS INTEGRAL (Integrated carbon and trace gas monitoring for the Baltic Sea) project, which receives funding from BONUS (Art 185), funded jointly by the EU, the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research, the Swedish Research Council Formas, the Academy of Finland, the Polish National Centre for Research and Development, and the Estonian Research Council.
Nutrients were measured using the Seal AA3 autoanalyzer. The data was quality checked by the head chemist of Finnish Environment Institute, Mika Raateoja.
