The mitochondrial genome of a threatened tideland snail Pirenella pupiformis

Pirenella pupiformis (Gastropoda: Potamididae) is a tideland species distributed from East Asian countries and is currently included in the Red List of Japan. To extract mitochondrial genome information of Pirenella pupiformis, the whole-genome shotgun sequencing data was obtained by Illumina Miseq sequencing.
