Tuning morphology of nonionic highly-methylated surfactant/water/CO2 assemblies

DOI

This proposal aims to explore a cheaper and more environmental-benign surfactants for microemulsion formation in CO2; in other words, a low fluorine containing fluorocarbon(FC-low) or FC-free surfactant yielding a high water-solubilizing capacity (water-to-surfactant molar ratio, W0) and rod-like reversed micelles in water/CO2 (W/CO2) systems.
