Whole Genome Capture and Sequencing of Borrelia burgdorferi

This project focuses on the tick-borne pathogen, Borrelia burgdorferi, whose geographic range and incidence in humans are on the rise in the United States. We adapted hybrid capture approach to obtain whole genome sequences and provide a snapshot of genomic diversity of this pathogen directly from field collections.
