This proposal aims to continue and complete experiment 5-32-795, Sept 2-6 2014, Magnetic frustration in 3D hyperkagome compounds. The continuation measurement will focus on the variation of magnetic correlations as a function of temperature in the frustrated compound Gd${3}$Al${5}$O${12}$, a compound with strong frustration homologous to the archetypal frustrated magnet, Gd{3}Ga_{5}O_{12}$. The temperature dependence of the magnetic correlations provides a stringent test of emergent excitations such as groups of spins that self-organize into weakly interacting antiferromagnetic loops, triangles and decagons, that govern all low temperature behaviour. These results will shed further light on magnetic correlations in magnetically frustrated topologically complex materials.
