This dataset includes analyses from four soil samples collected in 2017 along a chronosequence (0 to 150 years) in the Chamser Kangri glacier forefield. Our samples were collected in the southwestern extension of the Tibetan Plateau on the northern slope of Chamser Kangri peak (6645 m a.s.l.) belonging to the Lungser Range above Tso Moriri lake. We examined 4 soils, 4 water samples and parent material (rocks).
The dataset includes information on the enzymatic activity, parent material, chemistry, particle size distribution, phosphorus concentrations and stocks, and oxygen isotopic values of water and phosphate.
The data set is in long format comprising all information we have collected from the studied sites in 1-3 replicates.
The collected data allowed to investigate biological phosphorus transformations over the studied chronosequence.
