Molecular basis of thermal adaptation among bacteria from the polar and tropical region

This study aims to understand thermal adaptation of bacteria at molecular level. Whole genome sequencing and RNA-seq is carried out to understand and examined the mechanisms used by bacteria from polar and tropical regions when encountering cold- and heat-stress, and how they differ from each others.
