Degraded mangrove habitat site of Indian Sundarbans soil microbiome Metagenome

This study was initiated to find out the absolute abundance of presence of different bacterial community in these degraded mangrove habitat sites soil of Indian Sundarbans. It was done through isolation of soil DNA from the respective sites and amplicon database generation through16S (V3-V4) rRNA Sequencing using Illumina MiSeq.

Comparison of these sites information with that of pristine mangrove habitat site soil and restored or semi-restored mangrove habitat site soil of Indian Sundarbans might result into identification of some particular bacterial community abundances which could be used as metrics of evaluation restoration of mangrove site soil in future studies.
