Magnetic-field induced long-range spin order in quantum spin liquid candidate NaYbO2

DOI

Quantum spin liquid (QSL) is a novel state of matter where the spins are highly entangled with one another but fluctuate strongly down to zero temperature. It may be associated with exotic forms of superconductivity and related to the application of quantum computing. This proposal aims to study the magnetic field induced magnetic phase transitions in a new quantum spin liquid candidate, providing new insights in understanding the mechanism of spin liquid systems.
