The IRLDAT project aims to design a national infrastructure to support the active part of the research data lifecycle. This report summarises the infrastructure deployed for the pilot project and the lessons learned from this. It also discusses the additional requirements for transitioning this pilot to a production service and models various methods of financing such a service. A series of recommended next steps are presented based on the preceding analysis.
