Sequencing data (RADseq, RNAseq) of European whitefish from Lake Constance

The aim of this study was to identify the genomic and transcriptomic mechanisms underlying the rapid phenotypic diversification of European whitefish in Lake Constance following the re-oligotrophication of the lake. This study provides the first empirical evidence that collapsed species groups can re-diversify from a hybrid swarm following ecosystem recovery.
