Dendrochronology of 661 Quercus robur for SPONFOREST Project

DOI

15 spontaneous stands of pedunculate oak were sampled in the Landes region close to Bordeaux. In each stand, all the oaks were cored with an increment borer. The 661 cores were measured to get series of annual growth. The ring-width data were cross dated and standardized with RCS method. The dataset is composed of two files: (1) description of 661 trees, (2) growth data of 21461 tree rings.
