A clinical examination of a subgroup of men in the Cohort of Swedish Men living in Västerås and Örebro between 2010 and 2019. A re-examination is planned, but is pending although the aim is to start during 2022. In connection to the clinical visit the participants have filled in health and lifestyle questionnaires, and blood, urine, faeces and adipose tissue has been collected at the visit together with functional tests (e.g. memory test, gait speed and muscle strength) and biometric measures (height, weight, body composition). Members of the Cohort of Swedish Men with incident urological cancer (prostate, kidney, bladder and penile cancer) visiting Örebro hospital have given blood samples (whole blood, plasma and serum). From participants with prostate cancer a urine sample is also collected.

En grupp män ur kohorten av svenska män boende i Västerås eller Örebro har deltagit i en klinisk studie. Första besöket till kliniken gjordes mellan 2010 och 2019, uppföljningsbesök har ännu inte påbörjats men förhoppningen är att en sådan runda kan påbörjas under 2022. I anslutning till besöket får deltagarna fylla i hälso- och livsstilsenkäter och under besöket tas blod, urin, avförings- och fettvävnadsprov, funktionella tester (t ex minnestest, gånghastighet och muskelstyrka) och biometriska mått (längd, vikt, kroppssammansättning). Deltagare i Kohorten av svenska män med incident urologisk cancer (prostata, njure, urinblåsa och peniscancer) som besöker Örebro sjukhus har lämnat blodprover (helblod, plasma och serum). Deltagare som har prostatacancer får även lämna urin.
