Copy of: Magnetic properties of the new Kagome-like compound francisite Cu3Bi(SeO3)2O2Cl

DOI

We propose to study the newly synthesized compound Cu3Bi(SeO3)2O2Cl, related to the mineral francisite, using neutron diffraction for the first time. This compound is a new edition to the Kagome-like structures (similar to a kagome staircase) and has very intriguing magnetic properties, which depending on the type of probe used conflict with each other. To complete this study, we request 3 days of beamtime on WISH.
