Determination of the elemental composition in relation to the metal alloy usage in Renaissance Bronze from the circle of Francois Duquesnoy

DOI

We propose to obtain in elemental composition on Renaissance Bronzes related to the circle of the Sculpto Francois Duquesnoy. A recent attachment of a NRCA detector at INES will allow us no the correlate the diffraction data to the elemental composition. 3 objects we want to study have been investigated already by PGAA (Budapest). So we will also be able to compare the NRCA results to the PGAA data.We intend to obtain also NRCA data with PGAA data (Munich)on sand cast Cu1-xSnx and Cu1-x)Znx samples. Especially the CuZn alloys are of interest to the material use of Francois duquesnoy.
