Study of magnetic ordering in the inverted spinels Co2TiO4 and Co2SnO4

PID

In the present study we like to investigate the nature of magnetic ordering in Co2TiO4 and Co2SnO4 materials using the powder and single-crystal neutron diffraction technique. Other physical measurements indicate that the electronic properties of Co2TiO4 are rather complex. Therefore, a neutron diffraction studies are important for deeper understanding of the electronic and magnetic properties of this material. For comparison it is necessary to investigate also the isostructual compound Co2SnO4 where different electronic state has been reported.
