Application of tDCS in Cerebral & cerebellar area of chronic stroke patients to see theimprovement in balance

Two intervention groups were taken. In one group, tDCS was administered in the cerebellar area, and in another group, tDCS was administered in the leg motor area of the cerebral cortex. Conventional treatment was given in both groups. In every group, 20 minutes of tDCS was given followed by 30 minutes of a conventional physiotherapy program. The intervention was administered 4 times a week for 4 weeks. One baseline and one post-intervention assessment were taken with the help of outcome measures such as the Balance Error Scoring System, Timed Up and Go test, Modified Rivermead Mobility Index, and Dynamic Gait Index.
