This document describes the measurements to perform at the beginning of the ICOS grassland station operation in order to characterize the site investigated. These characterization measurements are twofold: they include (i) measurements of species presence to characterize the grassland in terms of botanical composition, and (ii) measurements of Aboveground Biomass (AGB) in order to define the station characteristic needed for the design of the ancillary vegetation measurements.
