Photogrammetric 3D-models and digitally mapped rock masses of slopes susceptible to rockfalls

DOI

This data collection consists of three main parts. 1) Collected raw data in the form of drone-based images and ground control point coordinates for five study areas in Norway (Tunhovdfjorden, Lærdal, Valle and Straumvatnet) that are susceptible to rockfalls. 2) Photogrammetric 3D-models and validation results, derived from the collected datasets. 3) Digitally mapped discontinuity surfaces and associated information (e.g. spacing, persistence and kinematic analysis), derived from the 3D-models. The datasets have been created by Larissa Darvell during 2020-2021 as part of her MSc thesis: Drone-derived SfM Photogrammetry and Digital Rock Mass Mapping of Rock Slopes.
