Relationship between dynamic balance and agility among team game players

Dynamic balance pertains to the capability to sustain equilibrium when moving or transitioning between different positions or movements. Agility is the skill to swiftly and adeptly alter direction while retaining both control and equilibrium. The objective of examining the connection between Dynamic balance together with Agility among different team game players is to understand how these two components interact and influence overall athletic performance. By studying this relationship, coaches, trainers, and athletes can develop focused training programs enhance both Dynamic balance together with Agility, thereby enhancing performance while decreasing the risk of injuries. This cross-sectional study, 76 male university different team game players (basketball, football, volleyball) aged 20 to 25 were selected. The 6x10m shuttle run test and RCS (Right composite score), LCS (Left composite score) and R-A Direction (Right anterior direction) showed fair positive correlation (r=0.273/0.238) whereas, other showed weak positive correlation. The study found a there is a notable connection between balance measures and agility performance. These findings suggest that employing suitable training methods can enhance both dynamic balance and agility. By honing these skills, athletes can optimize their agility on the field, leading to better game outcomes and reduced injury risks.
