Geochemical composition of identified volcanic events from B19, TUNU2013, and RECAP Greenland ice cores and correlating proximal material

DOI

This dataset contains major element oxide data and trace element data of volcanic events from B19, TUNU2013, and RECAP ice cores, Greenland and associated proximal material from Iceland. Secondary standards for major and trace element data are also provided. These ice cores were investigated to identify the source of the volcanic events across the period 700-1000 CE. In total, six volcanic events have been geochemically analysed across the study period in the Greenland ice cores and two corresponding events were analysed from Iceland.
