Position measurements at GNSS station BELG in 2020 with links to Receiver Independent Exchange Format (RINEX) and TRIMBLE binary data files

BELG GPS long-term raw-data series is aimed at contributing to the scientific research of Earth-System-involved global- as well as Antarctic-regional processes, improving International Terrestrial Reference Frame (ITRF) redefinitions, and benefiting society through enhanced GNSS-derived applications and services. Dataset was gathered at the Argentinean (Antarctic) research station Belgrano II in the year 2020. Approximate position in ITRF2014 frame at epoch 2020.5: X=1106002.61m, Y=-763742.28m, Z=-6214255.77m or in (GRS80) ellipsoidal coordinates: lat=77°52'29.283"S, lon=034°37'36.279"W, h=245.8m. Orthometric height above EGM2008 geoid amounts 257.7m. Sampling interval was 15 seconds. GPS receiver was TRIMBLE 5700 (SN: 0440103922), GPS antenna was Ashtech 700936C_M SNOW (SN: 11992). Each of the 366 archive files BELG_2020xxx.tar.gz covers one day and typically consists of four individual files: TRIMBLE proprietary binary file (.dat) and RINEX files (.20o, .20n, .20a). RINEX format version is 2.1.
