Expert elicitation for the role of nuclear energy in Turkey's climate change mitigation strategy

Survey sample population (n=23) includes energy experts associated with Energy and Natural Resources Association of Turkey and members of METU Graduates Association in order to satisfy diversity in participants ages. The survey was sent to energy experts involved with energy policy, energy planning and foreign direct investments. Ethical approval for conducting survey on human samples has been received from the Middle East Technical University Human Research Ethics Committee. The results are assessed using Two-way ANOVA method for the genders and professional backgrounds of the participants. The probability of a solution above the F-value (Pr>0.1) is used to test the null hypothesis. The sample size is considered satisfactory to represent expert elicitation on climate change and energy policy issues however limited to assess their relations with environmental values and behaviors of participants.
