Effects of drought on generation 2 Lupinus bicolor (Fabaceae)

DOI

Data are for Lupinus bicolor grown in a dry-down drought experiment at UC Santa Barbara in a second (F1) generation to test for maternal effects on plant growth and reproductive output. Plants were grown in dry-down and well-watered conditions in order to simulate potential maternal effects. Data collected include seed production, vegetative and phenological traits. The seeds were collected by hand between 2016-12-01 and 2017-02-28 near UC Santa Barbara Greenhouses. The greenhouse had climate controlled conditions with an average temperature of 21.1°C – 22.2°C.
