Full dataset with records of Work Engagement (WKE), Perceptions of Organizational Politics (POP) and demographic information collected from managers of different hierarchical levels. In addition, we also provide data from respondents who, although they are administrators, did not declare themselves as managers; possible outliers were maintained to preserve all information available to other researchers. Findings: WKE mitigates the perception of political behaviors in most observations. However, among highly engaged, WKE influences the increase of POP, indicating a curvilinear relationship.
