SANS study of self assembled structures formed from salicylate surfactant in dodecane with water

DOI

We wish to determine a structure we have observed in a dodecane/surfactant/water system. Initial experimentation has suggested the possibility of spontaneous formation of a bilayer structure within a non-aqueous environment, which could potentially be indicative of the formation of reverse vesicle-type structures. SANS will enable us to confirm/refute this and to follow the dynamics of formation of such structures.
