Mikrocensus 1975, 3. quarter: Contacts with Relatives and Acquaintances

DOI

The quality of social contacts is, besides the financial situation, one of the most important factors for the happiness and overall satisfaction with life of a person. Questions on the relationships of a person with people from their environment have therefore become of interest for science and institutes concerned with social topics. This problem area is very complex and cannot be covered in one survey; questions from this field have therefore been the topics of several Mikrozensus special surveys (for instance living conditions of elderly people (Mikrozensus MZ7104) or questions on family-related topics (Mikrozensus MZ7302)). Only two, although very important, components of social relation can be covered in the scope of this survey: contact and relationship with parents, children and siblings who live outside the own household and contact with friends in the spare time

Probability: Stratified: Disproportional
