Tell Sabi Abyad I

Tell Sabi Abyad I is one of four mounds at the site of Sabi Abyad in Northern Syria. Tell Sabi Abyad I has been excavated in the course of several fieldwork seasons between 1986 and 2010 by a team from Leiden University, lead by Prof. Dr. P.M.M.G. Akkermans. The excavations at Tell Sabi Abyad I has yielded finds and architectural remains dating to the Neolithic and to the Late Bronze Age.
