PAR measurements in Kangerlussuaq, a West Greenland Fjord

DOI

Measurements of PAR (µmol/m²/s) experienced by the bottom 30 mm of ice core samples over the final 12 hours of the study period. The stress experienced by the sea-ice algae exposed to surface light levels is measured as the variable fluorescence of photosystem II (PSII) and expressed in unitless Φ_PSII. The mean and standard deviation of the measurements is provided every 3 hours using both the I-PAM and Phyto-PAM instruments documented in the abstract.
