Global gross primary production from vegetation photosynthesis model for 2000-2016, links to model results in GeoTIFF format

This dataset contains 8-day temporal resolution, 500m spatial resolution gross primary production (GPP) estimation from vegetation photosynthesis model (VPM) for the entire globe during 2000-2016. The entire globe is divided into 290 sub area (tiles) under a sinusoidal projection. For each tile each year, there are 46 GeoTiff files, each one represents the average daily GPP during a 8-day period. Each GPP file is also associated with a quality control layer, which contains a Boolean value to indicate whether the data quality is good (0) or not (1). The simulated GPP is also validated against 113 eddy covariance flux tower across the globe.Total amount of zipped GeoTIFF files: 785 GB (GPP files: ~38 GB, data quality files: ~7.2 GB)
