Radionuclide (210Pb, 137Cs) and mercury measurements from short sediment cores (multicorer) taken during ALKOR cruises AL557 and AL561, Skagerrak

DOI

Short sediment cores (<50cm) were collected using a Multicorer in the Skagerrak during two cruises with RV Alkor in 2021 (AL557 and AL561). Sediment samples were analysed for 210Pb, 137Cs, 14C and mercury. The data was used to setup an age-depth model to determine temporal variability in sedimentation rates in the Skagerrak.
