Snow surface accumulation measured using manual stick measurents, EastGRIP camp Greenland, May 2018

DOI

Manually measured snow accumulation at 30 glass fibre sticks carried out during 2018 in connection with a photogrammetry Structure-from-Motion (SfM) approach (https://doi.org/10.1594/PANGAEA.923418) at the EastGRIP camp in northeast Greenland. The SfM study and the manual snow height measurements were performed in the same study area. The record gives relative snow surface height changes compared to a zero level defined on the day of installation of the sticks. The record is an average of the individual 30 measurement points. Measurements were carried out using a regular ruler. The estimated precision is less than 0.5 cm.
