Spatial variations in fungal assembladges along an elevation gradient in northern Japan

To investigate variations in fungal assemblages, including root- and leaf-associated and soil fungi, along an elevation gradient in a subboreal forest, we conducted sampling of tree roots and leaves and soil along an elevation gradient and high-throughput sequencing analysis of fungal community in the materials.
