Roseivivax marinus strain TCYB24 is a rod-shaped bacterium of Rhodobacteraceae isolated from the gill of deep-sea mussel Bathymodiolus marisindicus which collected from the Tiancheng hydrothermal vent under depth of 2700 m on the southwest Indian ridge.
