These data are from two nearby paleoclimate archives located in southern Hungary. Both exhibit millennial/sub-millennial scale, D-O-like climate variability, with significiant warming over interstadial periods. As such, dataset 1 provides stable and clumped isotope data measured at the Institute of Geological and Geochemical Research and the ETH and related calculations from land snail shell carbonates recovered from the Dunaszekcső loess record, Hungary. Dataset 2 contains 230Th/232Th activity ratios and calculated U-Th ages and stable C-O isotope data as functions of distance from top (mm) and age of the PK-6 flowstone, Bükkösd, Hungary.
